RK Harrison Relocate to Whittington Avenue

R K Harrison, a leading insurance and reinsurance broker have appointed Maris to assist them in their relocation from 52 Leadenhall Street to 1 Whittington Avenue, EC3. Constructed in 1991, 1 Whittington Avenue occupies a prime position adjoining the Lloyd’s Building, in the core banking and insurance area. The works started on site on 14th September and are scheduled to take 12 weeks to complete.
Maris were chosen for this project largely thanks to their competitive cost proposal and sound design. The scope of works will involve the fit-out of all 7 floors with both cellular and open plan office space, 1 floor for Reception, meeting rooms and executive offices and 1 floor allocated to a staff break out area. The style will tie in with RK Harrison’s corporate theme and will be their only office in London.
The 44,057 sq ft building has recently undergone a ‘developer’s fit-out’ by the Corporation of London, which includes base build services. Maris have been able to work alongside the Landlord’s development team to ensure all services are in full working order before the fit-out works commenced.
