Fast-track Office Refurbishment for Stikeman Elliott

Maris Interiors is delighted to have been appointed by Canada’s top business law firm, Stikeman Elliott to assist them with the refurbishment of their London head office.
Stikeman Elliott, who have 5 offices across Canada as well as offices in London, New York and Sydney, have taken additional space in Dauntsey House, Frederick’s Place, EC2. Now occupying space on the ground, first and second floors of the building, the project involved restacking and refurbishment works to all 3 floors, encompassing a total of 6,000 sq ft of office space.
The project, which commenced on site on 28th January 2009, is a phased project which will run for 7 weeks with a one week break when the Canadian team will visit the project, followed by 3 weeks to project completion.
The scope of works included refurbishment to the ground floor reception and waiting area, the construction of new meeting rooms, expansion of the air conditioning system and redecoration to all three floors.
This project also included the supply of furniture, instillation of new folding and sliding doors, painting and decoration, new carpets, ceilings and lighting.
Maris' Project Director commented, “The key to this job was finding the balance between the unique traditional style of the building verses the more modern furniture and finishes and turning this around in quick time, to allow Stikeman Elliott staff minimal business disruption.”
